Educational Purpose
Drugzzle is designed for low-stakes formative practice. It helps medical and health professions learners test core pharmacology knowledge, notice gaps, and revisit explanations while building safer prescribing reasoning.
The app is part of the PharmaNUS collection of free pharmacology learning webapps, which are developed and updated in response to learner feedback for students and medical and health professions learners.
What Learners Practise
- Core drug mechanisms, indications, adverse effects, and safety issues
- Single-best-answer reasoning under exam-like conditions
- Retrieval practice for durable pharmacology recall
- Recognition of clinically important prescribing and medication-safety cues
How To Play
- Open the app and start a pharmacology quiz round.
- Read each single-best-answer question carefully.
- Choose the best answer from the options provided.
- Use the feedback to review the pharmacology concept and refine your reasoning.
- Repeat rounds to build speed, confidence, and recall.
Use In Teaching
Drugzzle can be used as a short independent practice activity, a warm-up before class, a revision task after teaching, or a prompt for small-group discussion. It works best when paired with debriefing, explanation, and connection back to core pharmacology concepts.
